FAQ's about Aston Horticulture products.

Q. Which plants may be treated with our products?
A. The products have been successfully used by professional and amatuer growers alike, on a wide range of edible crops, garden plants, house plants, flowers, shrubs, trees, fruit (apples, currants, gooseberries, pears, plums, strawberries) and vegetables (aubergines, beetroot, broad beans, brussels sprouts, carrots, cabbages, cauliflowers, celery, collards, cress, cucumbers, endive, french beans, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuces, marrows, melons, onions, orache, parsley, parsnips, peas, peppers, potatoes, radishes, runner beans, shallots, spinach, tomatoes, turnips and swedes) and organic cereal crops. However, due to the wide range of cultural conditions, it is recommended that a few plants are test treated before full scale use.

Q. How do our products work?
A. Aston's products act as plant bio-stimulants releasing a series of beneficial sulphur compounds produced from garlic and other natural plant derived ingredients. The formulations are designed to unlock soil potential and allow the plants to develop well. This cost effective method of growing crops produces plants that encourage resistance to mildew, botrytis, aphids and spider mite etc.

Q. Do our products harm the environment?
A. No. Aston's products do not harm the environment and are completely biodegradable.

Q. If there is rain soon after spraying, must I spray again?
A. As with other treatments, if the rain is heavy, it will be best to spray again. Aston's products are rain fast in 1 hour in summer and 2 hours in winter.

Q. Do the products harm beneficial insects?
A. No. Aston's products are harmless to earthworms, bees, ladybirds, lacewings and other beneficial insects.
