Aston Turf is a cost-effective method of treating grass areas in a sustainable way, reducing or eliminating the need for chemical treatment.

Growers since ancient times have noticed that garlic plants (Allium sativum) are not attractive to certain insects, animals and fungi and they used garlic sprays to stimulate the natural ability of plants to resist pests and diseases. Today, garlic treatments are routinely used as a growth supplement in various crops such as lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, ornamentals, wheat, brassicas and for healthier, insect, nematode and fungal-free turf.

Aston Turf is a natural product formulated from garlic extracts. It is water-based, concentrated and biodegradable. It contains high levels of allicin, which has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It has a systemic and prophylactic action. It is suitable for use in turf areas and general amenity areas including parks, playing fields, grassland and conservation areas.

Research worldwide has shown garlic's fungistatic and fungicidal activity against Fusarium oxysporum, Phytophthora spp., Phythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Botrytis cinerea, Alternaria brassisicola, Sclerotinia and other pathogenic fungi.

Methord of Use

Use Regularly

For optimal results Aston Turf should be used regularly every 14 to 28 days, depending on season, at a rate of 5-12 litres per hectare over turf areas throughout the growing season. During use the characteristic smell of garlic will become evident; however, treated areas will become odourless within minutes.

Spray on

Dilute 1:100 in water and apply as a fine spray.
