Why Aston Tree Wash?

Growers since ancient times have noticed that garlic plants (Allium sativum) are not attractive to certain insects, animals and fungi and they used garlic sprays to stimulate the natural ability of plants to resist pests and diseases. Today, garlic sprays are routinely used as a growth supplement in various crops such as lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, ornamentals, wheat, brassicas and turf.

Aston Tree Wash is a concentrated food grade aqueous extract of garlic with natural plant derived additives. It is  concentrated and biodegradable. It contains high levels of allicin, which has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, as well as over 30 other sulphur based nutrients and selenium that will stimulate plant growth. It has systemic and prophylactic action.

How to use Aston Tree Wash

Use Regularly

For optimal results Tree Wash should be used twice during the winter season, followed by spraying in a programme of treatments throughout the growing season depending on variety and use.

Spray

Dilute 1:100 in water and apply as a fine spray to all parts of the tree every 7 to 10 days throughout the growing season normally 500/L per hectare. It is rain fast in one hour in summer and two hours in winter. During use the characteristic smell of garlic will be evident; however, treated areas and plants will soon become odourless.
